Derek Dallas Carr (born March 28, 1991) is an American football quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL), He played college football at Fresno State. He is the brother of NFL quarterback and current analyst David Carr.
Carr was the quarterback for the Texans for five seasons and then continued his career playing with the Carolina Panthers (2007), New York Giants (2008-09 and 2011-12), and San Francisco 49ers (2010). A Super Bowl champion as a member of the Giants, Carr played 12 seasons in the NFL before retiring in 2013.
