A 36-year-old man was fatally shot early Wednesday in Southeast D.C., police said. The shooting occurred in the 3900 block of Southern Avenue SE, near the Districts border with Prince Georges County, Md. Police said a call came in about the incident at 3:19 a.m., and officers found a man unconscious and not breathing.
